The Oxford Institute of Ethics, Law, and Armed Conflict is keen to use its research findings to best effect by playing a role in the shaping of legal and policy instruments for the management and regulation of armed conflict.
Policy Support
One of ELAC’s key goals is to play a significant role in shaping policy instruments for the management and regulation of armed conflict. Our research will regularly be disseminated to policymakers via policy briefs and a Consensus Statement of Principles. We are also interested in working with other organizations and institutions to increase our policy outreach through research, joint publications, workshops and seminars.
