Florian Zarnetta

Research Assistant
Florian Zarnetta is a Master of Public Policy candidate at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. He joins ELAC over the summer to support Deputy Director Federica D’Alessandra in her research. His work focuses on the prospects for international justice and accountability in a time of rising tensions between geopolitical powers. His further research interests include European foreign and security policy and the theory of international law.
Before coming to Oxford, Florian received a BA in Political Science and Law from the University of Tuebingen (Germany), where he specialised in international relations and international law. He is a Friedrich Ebert Foundation and Blavatnik School of Government Public Service Scholar.
