Taha T. A. Almasri

Research Assistant

Taha T. A. Almasri is a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L. Oxon) graduate, Lord Denning Residential Scholar at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, first-class law graduate from the London School of Economics and Rapporteur for Oxford International Organisations. He was awarded the Oxford Law Faculty International Law and Armed Conflict Prize in 2023. His interests are in the philosophy of international law, the jus ad bellum and the functioning of dispute settlement before the International Court of Justice.

Taha is working with Deputy Director Federica D’Alessandra at the Oxford Institute for Ethics, Law and Armed Conflict (ELAC) on various projects concerning international justice, UN accountability mandates and international criminal law.
