Janina Dill was quoted in Justice Info on the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrants against former Russian officials for war crimes and crimes against humanity related to attacks on civilians in Ukraine.
The article, When War Becomes Illegal, was written in response to the June 25 arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for war crimes and crimes against humanity for directing attacks against civilians and civilian objects in Ukraine. Janina Dill was quoted as saying, “It’s part of the larger puzzle that this [ICC] prosecutor isn’t focusing on ‘low-hanging fruit’. He’s going after conduct of hostilities and he’s going after the top of the chain of command.”
