On 20-21 March, Senior Visiting Fellow Emanuela-Chiara Gillard spoke on The Unintended Negative Impact of Sanctions and EU Restrictive Measures: Contemporary Challenges for Humanitarian Organisations at the second edition of the European Humanitarian Forum, which took place in Brussels. Jointly organized by the European Commission and Sweden, who held the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Forum aim to strengthen cooperation and partnership among countries affected by crises and donors, the EU and its member states, at a time of unprecedented humanitarian needs.
